Okay, I have never seen an episode of this but a lot of people I know rave about it. Anyway, I can borrow the first series from a friend. Will I be impressed?

I watched a few episodes but could never really get into this series...

All seemed a little bit silly to me.

The first season is brillant, I would avoid the second though

First season was near-flawless. I really enjoyed the second season as well, but the third has been pretty poor I think.

I missed an episode recently so fell behind after that, but I don't know if I'll go chasing. IMO the show has out-stayed its welcome.
