Site to go offline for some time |

 Dear all -
We had a boards.ie Board of Directors meeting yesterday, and the issue of the Boards Group set of site was brought up for discussion.
Due to the fact that this site is running on an out-of-date server, the decision was made to turn off public access to this site until such time as we have been able to import all posts from this site into boards.ie. This may take some weeks.
The plan is to redirect all domains to a temporary area on boards.ie until such time as the migration is complete.
I know that this will have a negative effect on the various communities present here - being offline for some weeks - but we will endeavour to get things up and running as soon as possible (part of the reason for the weeks as opposed to days estimate is that I am heading to the US next week and will be unavailable to perform the migration). However I hope you will understand from a security point of view that this is necessary.
